Well, a lot has happened this week. We started off the week great with a bomb lesson on the Plan of Salvation with a guy that is going to be baptized, but he can't decide when. We played football and basketball on pday and my knee was killing me when it was all said and done. It felt better slowly after the next couple of days. I had exchanges on Tuesday with one of the ZL that I'm chill with and it was really fun. It's nice to switch it up for sure. We went to this guy's house that we teach that told us that if they are never home then to come on in and help ourselves. They weren't home and my companion had to go to the bathroom, so we just went in. We were just sitting in their kitchen figuring out something to do, when I looked out the window and saw them drive up. We both freaked out because it was weird being in someone's home when they are not there. So we bounced out, but they saw us. He was just laughing and said, "I told you guys to come by anytime and help yourselves." We were laughing so hard because it was awkward and just a random thing.
On Wednesday I got the stomach flu and was sick Wednesday and Thursday and lost 6 pounds. It was super crappy because I wanted to sleep so bad, but after sleeping all day, that's the last thing I wanted to do, but I felt so horrible. Being sick on your mission is worse than at home by a long shot.
A lady that we have been teaching had been on parole and so the mission president had to interview her. He sent a letter to the First Presidency and we found out last week that she is cleared for baptism. She is just deciding now when she will do it. I'm super excited about it though.
Transfer calls were on Friday night and I stayed and my companion bounced out. I was so happy! I got Elder Zerbe, who is from Pennsylvania. He actually came out with me the first time, but was in the other district. So I didn't know him too well, but I like him a lot and we have a lot in common. It's so much better than the last two months. Hopefully we can keep all the work up.
The power went out throughout half the stake. Luckily it wasn't out where we were. On Sunday, we talked in church and taught a primary lesson.
The weather here has been lame. Its been snowy, rainy, and windy off and on and it's getting old. The next six weeks should be great and a lot of fun. I was looking back at some of the numbers and when I got here there was only one progressing investigator, but now we have thirteen. I am hoping that a couple of those get wet in the next six weeks, for sure. Also someone gave me a Mormon Messages DVD, so if you haven't already sent me one, then don't worry about it. If you have then oh well.
Finally, where did you go to get my watch battery fixed? The other half died this last week. Thanks for everything and I love you guys and hope all continues to go well this next week. Sorry that it wasn't until today that I wrote. We didn't have time yesterday with transfers and stuff.
