Well, I'll just start off with the big news of me getting transferred to Twin Falls. The other big news is that I had been assigned to the south part, but once I got here I found out that the people we live with have cats, so I was emergency transferred to the west. I'm pretty upset because I was going to have a car, which would have been good for my knee, but now I will be on a bike. I'm still follow-up training, but I've never even met my companion. I just got the news and I'm still a little frustrated, but hopefully it will be all right. I will be about an hour away from my first area, two hours from my second and three hours from my last. I'm just bouncing around the mission! I'm excited but at the same time kind of nervous because I've been in this area for so long that it's become like home. It was a great experience bearing my final testimony in the area and also Tristan and Terrea went up and bore theirs as well. It was such a spirit bomb.
Anyhoot, to recap the week, New Year's Eve was fun burning the Boren's tree down...can't believe its 2013! On Thursday, we drove forever because we had to drive to zone meeting up in Baker and then drove from there to Boise for Brandon's baptism. The baptism was so awesome and it felt like a night and day difference from the first time I met him. His testimony was so money and it was just so sick to see the baptized person from the drug and alcohol form. One of our zone leaders came with us on Friday and we had a really spiritual day and some pretty cool experiences and lessons. The weekend mostly consisted of visiting people and saying final goodbyes. The cool thing is my favorite companion, Elder Dees, is headed to Twin as well to be my ZL. So, we are only six miles apart, which I'm pumped about!
Well, that's about it. Next week I will have more information about my new area and companion! Pray for the best, Elder Larsen
