March #2 is over and April is now here. So crazy to think. It was a very interesting week once again here. It all started off with me waking up Wednesday at 3 a.m. having the stomach flu. But, I kept plugging along because we had a couple different appointments that we needed to be at. The way our luck was for the week, we had so many cancellations and what not. It just stunk because it was Spring Break this last week, so everyone was gone. It was so hard to find people to teach. It was so bad that we had zero dinners this past week. I'm so happy that Spring Break is over and people are back home. Also, on Wednesday, we found out that the new Twin Falls Mission APs are living with us. They live in our spare bedroom and the apartment is very big for four missionaries. It's been interesting so far, but it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. It's become much warmer around these parts and suit season is over, so now we can wear whatever we want (that's approved.)
Levetta Jepson was baptized this week. It was awesome that she was able to be baptized and also to be confirmed on Easter. It was really neat. Easter was nice and thank you Mom for the card! We had a great Easter dinner with one of the cool families in the area. It's nice to think that that was my last one. The sad part for us on this Easter Day was that we had zero investigators at church and it was freakin' Easter. How that happened I don't know, but it was a pretty big let down.
Yesterday was still such an amazing day to really focus on what our Savior has done for all of us in our lives. The past month I have been reading the gospels along with different conference talks on the Atonement and it has testified to me of the truth and power that the Atonement has on the world. My favorite scripture that I have been thinking about lately is 1 Cor 15:22. I love that we are able to think about the infinite sacrifice every week and not just on Easter Sunday. What a wonderful opportunity it is that we know and can know that through Jesus Christ, all men can be saved and that we are able to be cleansed for our sins. I also love the fact that maybe no one on this earth knows what you are going through, but our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know your pains and sicknesses and are wanting to hear from you. I wish that I could share all the things that I have learned about the Atonement, just this past month. But the things that I have and haven't shared I know they are true and I know that there is a way to the never-ending happiness that is mentioned so many times in the scriptures.
I love this gospel and everything that it has brought in my life and I say these things in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen!

Elder Larsen
