New Transfer, New Companion, New Roll

Here we go for the low down of the week. First off, I'm staying in Twin Falls for yet another transfer. I will be loosing my good friend Elder Bloomfield. I will be training a new missionary (Mom and Dad you now have another grandson) and will become the district leader here. My district consists of me and my comp and a missionary that has been out three months. He is going to be with a visa- waiter, so the three of them combined times four equals my time out which will be weird. I will be in Boise fromMonday-Wednesday for meetings and will get my new companion Wednesday afternoon. Fun and exciting stuff, I guess.

So the week was pretty good. We went to Cafe Rio for Taco Tuesday and while in line I talked to this kid that was a member and his friend. We taught his friend a shortened version of the first lesson and we are going to try to get him to take the lessons. My pull-in is that he loves basketball. I invited him to come play with us next Monday and he gave us his number.

The really cool thing was Stephon. I can't remember if I told you much about him, but he is 26, is a Jehovah Witness and has had missionaries off and on for a year. We met with him awhile back and have had some really good lessons. This past week he set his own baptismal date for the 11th, passed his baptismal interview, came to church yesterday, and bore his testimony. It was pretty dope. I was fasting for him yesterday. When we first got to church, he wasn't there. I hadn't seen him during the sacrament, so I was saying a prayer for him. Then a couple of minutes later, he went up and bore his testimony. It was a sweet answer to prayer.

Things should be all good and set for the baptism. Lok also finally got confirmed yesterday. His dad has been in the hospital, so we went and gave him a blessing after all of our meetings. We have five potential investigators for this week from church, so hopefully all those pan out. It was a super busy Sunday with all of that and with Bloomfield saying goodbye to everyone. We also went with one of our way cool bishops to Sun Valley to do some sightseeing and it was really beautiful up there. It was a fun trip. I'll try and send some pictures!

Well that is about it. I will probably be on again on Thursday so my greenie can email and what not. Love y'all and have a good one.

One Love,
Elder Larsen
