I Still Hate Biking in the Rain

Alrighty, so yesterday was Memorial Day so we weren't able to email because most the places were closed. This past week had its ups and downs. I went on exchanges with the only cool person in my district, so that was nice.  He has about five months left and he says he is going to try and request me for his last companion, which would be sweet. We taught a lesson that night and shared Alma 31 and I guess it never really stuck out to me until then, but I challenge everyone to read over it and apply it to your lives. So many times we ask the Lord to take away our trials, but those trials make us stronger, so we really do need to ask the Lord to help us bear those burdens.

The lady and her family that are from The Congo are getting baptized on Saturday.  Throughout every lesson says that she is free for God at least five times. It is so funny and now we can predict when she will say it and my companion says it along with her. There are four of them, the mom, two daughters who are 18 and 8, and then a son 12. It has been a very different experience to teach, but they passed their baptism interview last night, so it should all work out.

It rained FridaySaturday and Sunday and surprisingly enough, I still hate biking in the rain. It is the worst and makes me have zero motivation to go out in it, but we still do.

I got a hair cut for free from the lady in the ward and she did a pretty good job. It's free so I don't even care. The family we live with made cinnamon rolls and while I was eating them all I could think about was Christmas morning. It was one of those trunky moments that occur once-in-awhile. Steven didn't come to church again and left us another note. That makes one text and two notes so far. We are trying to think of something to do to get him to come. Those are all the events that happened this week.

I think my comp is bi-polar because one second we will be having fun and what not and the next he will be sad and depressed about something that shouldn't matter. It's frustrating, but I'm trying not to have it effect me. We have interviews with the president on Friday, so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully, this week will continue to go well.

Thank you so much for the package!  When I got it all I could think is that my mom loves me!  Just put some money in because I have to go to the store today and I'll pick some up. Hope everything continues to go well for everyone. Love you guys!
