Thanks for Elder Dees

This week wasn't too much different than the rest. There have been fires up north so lately it has been super foggy and dark and has started to get colder. We did have zone conference this week and that went really well. I had to role play again with Pres. Cannon, which I've done every zone conference so far. We found out a little more about the temple open house. We are allowed to go with our investigators 3-4 times a week, which I'm pumped about. We will also have the whole mission be there for one of the three dedications on November 18th which Pres. Monson will be doing.

I went on exchanges with one of the zone leaders and it went really well. We are good friends, but we had to have my third companion, Elder Palmer with us, so that made it not as fun as it could have been. It's been tough with him just because of his awkwardness and what not, plus the fact that our area is on fire and adding another area doesn't help us. We do a lot of driving which in turn is a waste of time. I feel at times like we are babysitting him, even though he has been out 17 months and is still a junior companion.  At least I have Elder Dees or else I would probably go insane.

I finally got a hair cut this week. I was in a huge need of one. Dees and I just buzzed each others hair to save money and so we didn't look too shaggy for zone conference. We had stake conference yesterday, which I don't understand because you don't take the sacrament, but it was still a good meeting. We didn't have too many great appointments this week, but we should have a baptism this Saturday for a nine-year-old whose family is less-active, so we are working with them on that. That's pretty much it for me. Life is great, no big complaints!

Love all of you!
Elder Larsen
