Approaching the Year Mark

Another week gone and another to come.  It was another eventful week with great things happening. It started off not so great because we had district meeting on Tuesday and right afterwards we were kicking a soccer ball around.  I kicked it over the chain link fence.  So I jumped over, got it, threw it over.  Then on the way back, the back of my pant leg got caught and it made a 8 inch cut through my pants and g's.  They are pretty shredded, but luckily I have another pair to go with the suit coat (see attached photo.)

We were able to get Emily and Thomas Mendez interviewed, baptized, and I was able to confirm both of them. Thomas failed his first interview because he gets so excited that he just blabbers off answers to different questions. It was really good to get it all done though!

I got a call this week from our last AP saying that he is the one teaching Brandon Roberts and as of now he is ten days sober and still has his baptism date for January 5th. Brandon told him to call me and let me know. It made my week! I'm so pumped for him!

It finally snowed late Saturday night, but melted off by Sunday morning.  It is just doing on and off stuff mostly, nothing too heavy.  I'm ready for a good amount of snow!  Not Christmas without snow. Yesterday, during Gospel Principles, our slightly weird and crazy ward mission leader started talking about the Last Days and the world ending and the Signs of the Times.  It was pretty funny actually.

I hit my year mark this Thursday, which is the same day that we have our mission Christmas party, so that should be fun. Thank you everyone for the different packages and cards that I have received. And Mom, I am enjoying the 12 Days of Christmas. Hopefully you enjoy the pictures that I sent of how I set it up!

Love you guys and hope you have a great last week leading up to Christmas!
