Well, I've now hit thirteen months and also it has been over a year ago that I came back out for round 2. Pretty weird to think about. It's freakin' awesome though! On the downside, all my friends got their trunky papers telling them the time of their arrival home, so that blew.
For the past two weeks I have been doing round 2 of Insanity. We do it almost everyday at 6:00 a.m. with this way cool family in a different area! They are way awesome...we also played Settlers of Catan one night with them as well, and yes, my reign has continued!
We had interviews this week and they went awesome. Pres. asked me what I thought about training and I told him I would do whatever he wanted, but I don't have any preference towards it or not. Either way is fine with me. The overall interview was really good though. So the bomb week that we had set up, blew up beneath our feet! We had so many cancellations and just super gay things! We had these three different families cancel and then reschedule for another day in the week. Then they cancelled again that day. I even texted one of them to double check that we were still a go and they said yes two hours before. Then they cancelled five minutes before the lesson! It was a tough week in the streets.
On the bright side, we are now in a car share, which means that we get a car every other day and share it with another set of elders...better than nothing. Sunday was super nice because it was stake conference, which was only two hours, instead of the day long event that we had last week. This morning we were just about to do Insanity and the family has a basketball hoop where we do it. So I junked it at 9 ft (I know nothing special) and hurt my knee (nothing too bad, just super sore). I mostly just stretched out during half the workout and it's feeling a little better :)
Besides that, not much exciting and fun happened this week. Mom to answer some of your questions that I forgot to answer last week: We cover five wards, one of which is the singles ward for the local small college, CSI. We live in an apartment that is a bit smaller than the one in Payette, has a funky smell, but is still nice!
Love ya' guys and hope all is well! Just tryin' to stay warm and survive here in the windy city of Twin!
