Well I got on this morning and Grandma Womack gets the #1
award since she is the only one that wrote me from the family today!
So this was a super busy week. We had zone conference on Tuesday, which was good, but the same as all the others I have been to. Weird to think I only have two of them remaining...not that I'm counting. We met some pretty solid people. We met this guy that is in his thirties that is a less-active black guy, straight from Brooklyn. He is now in the whitest area of Twin Falls. It was pretty dope talking with him and we are going to start making it a regular thing. We also met this kid, Salvador, who is freaking golden. He has a friend in our college ward who set it up for us to meet him. We had a bomb first lesson. He gave up all Word of Wisdom issues a year ago and he also said dueces to his serious girlfriend. He said he wanted to have Christ in his life and the other churches that he was going to weren't doing it for him. He has come to church twice now and yesterday he kept talking about his baptism and saying what a big day it's going to be.
Saturday was a super service day. We helped two families move and then we mowed Kervin's lawn that had grass three feet tall everywhere and it took days. I was exhausted by the end of the week.
All in all, we got five new investigators and twenty-eight lessons. We just have to get more people to come to church, but besides that, it's going pretty solid in the area.
As for my companion, he is pretty interesting. He is awful talking with people on the spot. I'll have him knock some doors and he will say hi, how are you doing. They will say good and then he will pause for a second and then will ask them again how they are doing. No joke. It happened like three times this week and then I will correct him and show him how to do it. But then he just goes back to his old ways. It's been an interesting experience, but overall it's been a good experience for me and I think that he is getting the hang of it.
Well that's about it for me.
Love ya guys and hope all is well! Peace and Blessings!
