Had to Give Him the Devil Eyes

What an eventful week!  We had a two-day leadership meeting with exchanges. During those exchanges, I got sick which was awful!  The next day, I went on another exchange and slept most the day because of my cold-flu. Thursday, I felt sick still, but worked the rest of the week anyways up until Sunday morning when I got food poisoning and hurled all morning. So, overall the week is kind of a blur and luckily I'm feeling better today. Glad to have that behind me though. Leadership training was good and I learned a lot and shared a lot of good insight. I enjoyed that.

As for our investigators, we are meeting with Salvador tonight, which I'm stoked about. We are teaching a lady, Yolonda, who went to the temple open house a while back and loved it. She goes to another church, so we taught her this week and explained why there are so many churches on the earth. They all have some truth, but they don't have the fullness, like the LDS church. After the lesson, I challenged her to baptism and she accepted. It's going to be a struggle getting her to church because she is such a flake. The next lady is Lucy who is 70+. We have been talking with her and helped her move last week. We challenged her to baptism as well and she accepted and is excited about it. She needs to quit smoking and drinking coffee.

I finally got my companion to extend a baptismal commitment. He would never do it before, so I had to give him the devil eyes for him to do it. SUCCESS!  Stephon also got the priesthood on Sunday and we are going to do baptisms for the dead with him hopefully this week.

Well that's about it for me. One Love!
