Rain, Rain Go Away

This week was a lot better than some in the past. We had President's interviews and they went really well. Pretty short and sweet. We had some really good appointments this week. We were able to meet with Christina and Quenton on Saturday and we taught the plan of salvation. Afterwards we talked about how baptism is just the first step and that the end goal is the temple. She said that they have been thinking about the exact same thing this week and that she will decide when she wants to be baptized after her husband interviews with the bishop on Wednesday to see how long the repentance process will be for him. I think she will just go ahead and be baptized soon, so that they will be both ready in a year.

Jesse came to church and we finished up all the lessons with him yesterday. We are going over the interview questions this week with him and then he should be good for the 12th.

We had dinner with an ex'ed member on Saturday that we didn't know she was ex'ed until the end and she had her non-member granddaughter there as well. They both accepted to start taking the lessons, so we will start tomorrow.

Then yesterday we did some contacting and what not and found three more investigators and one of them seems super solid. He was talking about how he wanted to change his life and how he has already started, but needs a church for a good foundation. It was a really good lesson and he has some really good member fellowshippers.

Friday and Saturday was nothing but service. We helped a guy pick nuts for three hours and then the next day we helped another family for seven hours packing and moving stuff. I was so exhausted it wasn't even funny. It was a long weekend, but we made a lot of progress in the area, so I'm more excited about the things to come. It's been nothing but rainy lately and I'm not a fan. Luckily I have a car, so I don't have to worry about it too much. But it's still annoying.

Love you all!
